CO2 Decaffeinated Teas

Do you want a cup of tea in the evening but without caffeine?

Or are you caffeine-sensitive and prefer to avoid caffeine in general?

For years, I was very caffeine-sensitive and had to drink only caffeine-free tea. I’m happy to say that’s not the case anymore.

However, I still enjoy many caffeine-free teas like

I love all of them as hot teas, but the raspberry and peach teas are phenomenal as iced tea - they do double duty.

I get a lot of questions about the method used to decaffeinate tea and whether it is safe. So, I thought I would share some info with you.

My decaf teas stay flavorful and comforting because they have been decaffeinated using the CO2 method.

This gentle, natural process keeps your tea’s taste and goodness intact.

Unlike chemical-based decaffeination processes, which I avoid at all costs, the CO2 method is pure, simple, and effective.

Here’s how the natural CO2 process works:

Fresh tea leaves are moistened with water to open their pores.

Pressurized CO2 acts as a binding agent to remove the caffeine molecules.

After extracting the caffeine, the CO2 is removed, leaving the tea’s natural flavor and beneficial antioxidants.

All the good stuff is still there, but the caffeine is gone.

Your tea retains its vibrant color, authentic flavor, and all its polyphenols and antioxidants.

As CO2 is a naturally occurring compound, this process is safe, sustainable, and chemical-free.

When you choose one of my CO2-decaffeinated teas, you’re getting the best of both worlds: all the great taste but without the caffeine buzz, making these teas perfect for a relaxing evening or a gentle start to your day.
