As many of you know, I am constantly sampling new teas to find the perfect addition to our store. My cardinal rule has always been to taste-test every tea before making a purchase.
Well, sometimes even the best rules are meant to be broken, at least unintentionally.
The Back Story
The full-bodied Scottish Breakfast Black Tea has been on backorder since April due to a supplier restructuring.
Assuming that all Scottish Breakfast Teas are the same, I decided to get it from another source, adding a couple of pounds of Scottish Breakfast Black Tea to another order.
The moment I opened the bag, I knew this wasn't the tea I expected.
This one had a captivating and delightful smoky aroma — I loved it.
It was true "happy accidents" can lead to an unexpected and exciting discovery.
