Tea Talk
It's November Already!
Posted by Dani Noto on
Can you believe we're already into November? This year is just flying by! As I looked at the calendar and saw that we've only got 17 days until Thanksgiving, I had a moment of panic. My daughter and her family are coming from out of state this year, and I would like to be ahead of the game as far as the food and drink I have on hand. I'm sure you natural planners out there will just laugh and say it's called "menu planning." I'm trying to avoid the last-minute panic run to the store because I forgot something....
Happy Halloween!

October is always a fun month with the lead-up to Halloween. For some people, Halloween is their favorite holiday of the year. They enjoy displaying all the spooky decorations in both their houses and yards. At the top of my Halloween fun list is pumpkin carving. I think many adults enjoy pumpkin carving as much as the kids do; I know I do. In my family, there’s also some friendly competition to see who has carved the best design into their pumpkin. October is breast cancer awareness month, and I want to give a huge shout-out to all the warriors and their families who have had to fight against breast cancer. I don't think I know any family that hasn't been touched in one way or another by someone who has fought against this terrible disease. Thankfully many have fought and survived, but our hearts go out to those families whose loved ones fought valiantly but still lost their battle. This battle becomes very personal very...

From my headline, did you guess I am going to talk about lavender? How many of you have tried lavender tea? I’ve grown lavender in my home garden for years but didn’t start drinking it as tea until a few years ago. I used the lavender flowers and buds for other things like lavender shortbread cookies (they’re totally yummy), soap, body lotions, and sachets to put in my linen closet and pillowcases. I can tell you the scent of lavender is one of my favorite scents and is also one of the most beloved fragrances worldwide. From lavender essential oil...
Peppermint Tea
Posted by Dani Noto on
Are you a peppermint tea fan? I really hadn't been until recently, even though I have an amazing Organic Peppermint Tea in the store. I sell a lot of it but personally kind of ignored it as a tea I would drink. There were always other teas I frequented — until the last couple of weeks. I came across an article about peppermint tea's benefits, so I thought, what the heck, let's go for it. Here is a little info about Peppermint tea. It's actually an herbal tea (also called an infusion or tisane). It is made by steeping actual...
