These Teas Brighten My Day

Uptown Tea Shop - Premium Loose Leaf Teas and Accessories - Morning Teas

I don't know about you, but my days start early and are jam-packed with family, business, dogs, and activities. I can't imagine how I would manage to get through the day without my teas.

In the morning, I look forward to my first cup of tea. It sets the tone for my whole day.

I rotate between a nice, smooth cup of black tea-like Imperial Breakfast, a blend of Darjeeling, Keemun, and Assam.

If I'm feeling I need more of a pick-me-up, I'll head toward Breakfast Cuppa or Organic Rise and Shine.

Breakfast Cuppa has Ceylon black tea with roasted Mate and hazelnut flavoring. It's said that Mate can boost your energy levels and increase focus. I personally find this true for me.

Organic Rise and Shine is a breakfast blend that pairs pu'erh and vanilla with the ideal black tea. These blends hold me through till lunch.

Lunch is usually an iced tea. Yes, I drink iced tea all year long.

My go-to is Decaf Peach Black.

When I want to switch it up, I'll head to Magic Moon, a black and green tea blend with a delicious strawberry flavor.

Mango Passion is another favorite. Refreshing mango, passion fruit, and papaya are a vacation in a cup.

Another good choice is Sunny Lemonade Fruit Tea. Lemon granules and big, freeze-dried lemon peel, candied pineapple pieces, sour apple pieces, and freeze-dried red currants create a fruit tea that tastes like a glass of tart lemonade.

If I want a tea later in the afternoon, I'll probably hit up my green tea collection.

I enjoy Green Cinnamon Twist. I find this tea so comforting.

If you're having a tough day, drink this tea or one of its sisters, Cinnamon Spice, Cinnamon Spice Rooibos, or Decaf Cinnamon Spice. They're naturally sweet and delicious.

Evenings are reserved for herbals, decafs, or rooibos to help me unwind and settle before bed.

There's nothing better than a warm cup of Evening on the Bayou. This is an amazing herbal blend that can help promote sleep.

I also enjoy Decaf Earl Grey de la Creme with the added touch of silky smooth cream.

Snickerdoodle Rooibos is a good choice too, and it really does taste just like a snickerdoodle cookie.

When my last cup of tea is finished, I'm relaxed and ready to snuggle into bed and dream wonderful dreams.

Happy Sipping,
Dani
