The Gift of Tea
Posted by Dani Noto on
It’s only two and a half weeks till Christmas, which seems unbelievable to me. It’s just coming up so quickly. Just yesterday, it was the fourth of July, right?
This time of year can be bittersweet for me. I miss my parents and grandparents and all the holiday traditions we did. Over the years, I’ve incorporated many traditions into my family, so I still have them, just slightly different.
One of the things I always did for my dad was I gave him the gift of reading. He loved spy novels. As my grandpa was a crossword aficionado, he always got new crossword puzzles. My mom was a fantastic watercolorist, so I gifted her supplies to feed her artistic passion. My Grandma loved white chocolate and tea. This made her super easy to buy for since I can admit to loving those things too. It was always a pleasure to shop my local tea shop for her favorites. Of course, there were new holiday-tea-finds that I just had to try too.
Fast forward to today. My daughter and two daughters-in-law love tea, so I have the pleasure of shopping for them. I love browsing through my teas and deciding on which long-time favorites, new selections, and accessories to choose for them. We’ve had many a good conversation, laughter, and the joy of just being together as we take the time to enjoy a cup or pot of green tea, white tea, or herbal tea.
And not to be left out are the men in my family. My husband and boys enjoy tea too, so I have to slightly switch gears since their tastes are very different than my girls. They appreciate my travel mugs and the darker, richer black teas and oolong teas.
And, of course, I can’t leave my besties out. Ok, you get the idea...tea and accessories make great gifts for everyone on your list. I personally find it’s truly a pleasure to give and receive the gift of tea.
I’m so blessed to be able to offer all of you over 160 different kinds of teas to choose from to gift your family and friends.
I know this number of teas can seem overwhelming.
So I carefully and thoughtfully put together 16 gift sets with a wonderful selection of teas in a beautiful, three-tiered, matte-silver, airtight canister that anyone would love to receive. Each three-tiered canister holds one ounce each of three different teas. The canister is designed to be stacked, so it’s convenient and saves on space, all while keeping your tea fresh.
And of course, don’t forget to get yourself something too. You’re absolutely worth it, and I give you permission to not feel guilty if you indulge yourself.
