π―π« Honeybush Tea! π«π―

The weather here in the south has finally cooled off, and it feels way more like fall, even early winter. So, I've been drinking hot teas more than iced teas, and I thought I'd share the teas I enjoyed last week.
Honeybush tea has been my go-to choice.
For those of you unfamiliar with honeybush tea, it comes from South Africa. It's a shrub that grows only in the coastal and mountainous areas of the Western and Eastern Cape regions of South Africa. Its yellow flowers smell like honey, hence its name.
This superb tea is naturally caffeine-free, very soothing, and can calm your central nervous system.
Honeybush is more accurately a tisane since it contains no leaves from the Camelia Sinensis plant.
Honeybush has been traditionally used to treat coughs in adults and children, symptoms of menopause, and aid digestion. It is rich in polyphenols, which help our immune systems, too!
New research has found that honeybush may also help with diabetes management by controlling insulin levels, it may help with heart disease, and it possesses anti-inflammatory properties.
These health benefits of honeybush are all important to me, but I just really like the taste!
I carry four different kinds of honeybush teas:
My vanilla fans will enjoy Organic Honeybush Vanilla with its gentle, warm, rich vanilla flavor.
There are no tannins or acids in honeybush tea, just a delicious, comforting taste.
If you're a fruit fan, Honeybush Peach is calling your name. The wonderful peach flavor has won me over as my favorite peach tea. It is fabulous, hot or cold. During the summer, I drink a lot of this tea iced.
If you are craving dessert, reach for the Honeybush Chocolate Cake or Honeybush Peppermint Bark.
It may sound incredible, but Honeybush Chocolate Cake tastes like real chocolate cake. And we all know there's no wrong time to enjoy chocolate cake, so go ahead and indulge since this tea doesn't contain any calories or caffeine.
Honeybush Peppermint Bark tastes like an Andes Candy, a lighter-flavored chocolate mint. I love the mint in the evening after dinner, but I also like it first thing in the morning. Chocolate and mint β what's not to love any time of the day? As the holidays approach, these two teas may be lifesavers for those of us looking for something sweet without the extra calories.
Honeybush teas taste delicious, have many health benefits, and can be enjoyed by everyone. So, drink a cup or two today; I know I will.
