Fill with loose leaf tea, and pour the hot water over the leaves and steep. The fine mesh construction will keep tea leaves and loose particles out of your tea. The basket is large enough to allow the tea leaves to unfurl and release their flavor during brewing giving you an amazing cup of tea. This strainer also comes with it's own drip catcher for use after brewing. The drip catcher can also be placed over the top of the strainer to keep heat in while your tea is steeping.
