High Tea for KIDS, Friday, December 29th - 2:00 p.m.

Uptown Tea Shop and Simply Bougie Luxury Picnics are pleased to announce High Tea for Kids, or as or as we fondly call it, Mommy/Grandma-and-Me High Tea.

Many of you have fond memories of doing High Teas with your mom or grandma when you were young and want to recreate this experience for your younger children.

This High Tea experience is specifically geared toward children ages 5-9. The food will be kid-friendly. There will be crustless finger sandwiches, scones, fresh fruit, dessert, and a tea beverage. The food choices will be based on children’s palates. If your child has a food allergy, please let us know when you book your High Tea for Kids event.

You and your child, children, or grandchildren will be seated at a beautifully set table, nestled in a cozy room in a unique setting, with the artwork of Eight Legs Gallery artists as your backdrop.

High Tea for Kids will be presented on Friday, December 29th at 2:00 p.m.

OUR MENU CAN INCLUDE DAIRY, CHICKEN, BEEF, SEAFOOD, AND GLUTEN.

If you have any FOOD ALLERGIES or DIETARY RESTRICTIONS, please let us know at the time when you make your High Tea reservation. We can then try to suggest a comparable substitution.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ANY MENU CHANGE REQUESTS ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

This enjoyable event is only $34.95 per person.

A per-table reservation fee of $34.95 is required when you make your reservation. We have a 7-day cancellation policy. Should you need to change or cancel your reservation, we require you to notify us at least 7 days before your High Tea event for a full refund.

We’re looking forward to helping you introduce High Tea to a younger generation. As tables will be set with china, porcelain, glass dishes, and teapots with hot tea, here are some guidelines for our High Tea for Kids event:

• Children should be able to sit still and eat nicely at a table for 30-60 minutes.
• Children should be able to handle real glass cups and plates.
• Children should be able to follow directions since there will be hot beverages on the table.
• Children should be able to be courteous of other diners and use inside voices.
• Children should want to have a new fun experience.

Should an accident occur in which dishes or china are damaged, you agree to reimburse us for the cost of replacing the broken/damaged items.

High Tea for Kids is a special event meant to be shared, savored, and enjoyed. We encourage you to take time out of your busy schedule to sit back and enjoy a wonderful tradition.
